Founded in 2020, Next Mile Location Technology (Next Mile), was born out of the NGIS Group, a leading Australian geospatial consultancy. Jeeten Chauhan, General Manager of Next Mile had previously worked for the NGIS Group for eight years as the  East Coast General Manager. Then he turned his sights to establishing an innovative and future-forward business unit of his own and began Next Mile. Partnering with HERE Technologies (HERE) as the sole Asia Pacific (APAC) distributor was poignant in the development of the Next Mile story. Since technology underpins everything we do, we wanted to ensure it was the right fit for our business. Over the past year, Next Mile has been able to grow into a successful location technology company and continue to complete meaningful work for many Australian organisations.
